About Sarbanes-Oxley

The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 was established as a response to the corporate accounting scandals that were uncovered at Enron and WorldCom, among others. The Act established stringent financial reporting requirements in an effort to safeguard outside investors from corporate fraud.
